At 21:05 hours Engine 30 and Tower Ladder 32 were dispatched mutual aid to the village of Catskill (Greene County) for a working structure fire at 230 Water Street.

On arrival both units were immediately put to work on the third floor and roof of a 3 story wood frame multiple dwelling. Hudson and Catskill members pulled ceilings, walls, and roofing material in the "Collyers Mansion" plagued third floor apartment to gain access to heavy fire in the cockloft.

Efforts to contain the blaze were effective even through frigid temperatures that were exasperated by wind gusts coming off the Catskill Creeks which borders Water Street.

All Hudson units returned to service at 12:07am without injury to any members.

Units: Engine 30, Tower Ladder 32, Chief of Department Anthony DeMarco Jr., 1st Asst Chief Shawn Hoffman, 2nd Asst Chief Nicholas Pierro.
