Very nice website you have. I used to correspond with Neal van Deusen for many years but have lost contact. I'd very much like to at least have email contact with Neal now I've left the dark ages and got a PC! If anyone knows him, please give him my email address and tell him my street address is unchanged. Thanks.
Stay safe everyone, best wishes, Steve Greenaway, UK

I am a Haz-Mat Technician and EMT with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in NC and grew up in Greene County. Your site is great.
We are interested in publicizing the good work of your department in the next issue of the Fire News, which will be distributed at the New York State Chiefs expo at Lake George at the end of the month.

Nice job to all within the Hudson City Fire Department. Keep up the good work and as always be safe.
Just thought I'd stop and check out the site. Quarters tries to keep me updated on things, but you all know how that goes. Great pics by the way. Unfortunately I joined the fire service in college, not High School or there might be some pics of me when you guys went M/A to Livingston. Keep up the good work and stay safe!

I have something that belongs to you. I will be happy to send it to you for nothing. It belongs to family members if there are any still around or to your firehouse. It need to go back where it will be appreciated. It is a Memorial ribbon honoring one of your fallen, one John B. Cunningham who died January 16 1896. The interment was on January 19, 1896. The cause of death is not given but the the man was obviously a member of your hose company. The decription, "J. W. Edmonds Hose Company No 1 Hudson N.Y." is in larger letting than the name of the deceased. I am assuming he died on the job. It is a white silk like ribbon with black lettering and I found it in a book I purchased a while back. If you have a company historian or someone else who would find this interesting just send me an email. Jay.

My family is an old Hudson family. My Dad was from Hudson, but I was raised in Connecticut.
Many of my relatives were "firemen" in Hudson, and I remember visiting the firehouse when I was little. Am now 77 years old.
Thanks for the work that you do. God bless and Good Luck!
