27-9 F.A.S.T. To Greenport

At 9:37AM Friday morning, Hudson Engine 27-9 was dispatched with a F.A.S.T. team at the request of the Greenport Fire District for a structure fire across from 597 Joslen Boulevard in the Town of Greenport.

Upon arrival crews from 27-9 staged near the residence and stood by as crews from Greenport worked to extinguish the fire. Several FAST members from Hudson also laddered the building to provide access in the event of an emergency. After the fire was knocked down, several Hudson Firefighters assisted with overhaul of the 2nd Floor. Hudson units were back in service at 1:00PM.
