Over the last several months Engine 28-28 ( a 1999 KME Renegade) has gone through a much needed refurbish. The cab was repainted, a new light package was installed, and new lettering was added. The cab features a new black over red paint scheme and the light package includes all warning and safety lights. Our members have also been upgrading the pump, replacing old poly valves with new stainless steel valves, extending the life of the pump.

Our own volunteers completed a majority of the work in house saving thousands of dollars. The refurbish will help extend the life of the truck for years to come. This project will help put off replacing the truck for another 5-10 years. A new truck would cost an estimated $500,000.
