Mutual Aid to Stottville

On January 8, 2023 at approximately 1:53pm The City of Hudson Fire Department was requested to Stottville with manpower to assist at a working structure fire on Atlantic Ave. Within one minute of being dispatched as part of Stottville's 2nd Alarm, Hudson Cars 1, 2, and 3 along with Engine Rescue 27-42 and Engine 30-25 were responding to the scene. Once on scene, members assisted with interior firefighters, and fire suppression. Engine 30-25 also deployed two additional handlines into the building. Members operated on scene for approximately two hours. Hudson Fire responded with 25 members. Other departments on scene included Stottville, Stockport, Greenport, West Ghent, Claverack, Mellenville, and Stuyvesant. The Fire departments were assisted on scene by the Columbia County Coordinators Office, New York State Police, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, and The Greenport Rescue Squad.
