Structure Fire 726 Warren Street

On Saturday February 4th at 9:10pm, the City of Hudson Fire Department was dispatched to 726 Warren Street in the city for a reported indoor smoke condition.

Interior crews made their way to the basement apartment where they discovered a fire in the ceiling of a bathroom. The fire was quickly extinguished and the building was ventilated. Damage was contained to the basement apartment.

Crews on scene were assisted by the Greenport Fire Department with their FAST team, Catskill Fire Department, City of Hudson Code Enforcement office, and National Grid.

The fire was determined to be started by an electrical issue. No injuries were reported. Several families were unfortunately displaced due to the fire and arrangements were made for temporary housing.
