In our latest picture update, the cab on the new tower ladder is back from the paint booth.

The cab features a sleek looking black over red exterior paint scheme, consistent with our other two engines. Also seen here is the diamond plate roof covering to help protect the roof surface from the weather and debris. Additionally you can see the protective coating applied to the interior of the cab to protect parts of the cab structure.

The cab is out of the paint booth and is currently being wired. Hundreds of wires must be laid out for various components of the truck including lighting, dashboard controls, and power for various tools and accessories. One the wiring is complete interior fabrication will begin.

It should be noted that often the pictures we receive may be several days to a week behind where the truck is currently in production. The truck is further along than what we currently see here.

The new tower ladder is currently in production at the E-ONE facility in Ocala, Florida. Delivery is still expected in August. Check back for more updates!
